Meet the Teacher

My name is Amber Laue and I am so excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year.  I graduated from Rockford College in 2006 with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  In August of 2019 I graduated from American College of Education with my Masters in Early Childhood Education.  In 2006 I was hired to teach art at Pecatonica Elementary School, but quickly switched to second grade, then first grade and then kindergarten.  This year will be my 18th year teaching, my12th year in kindergarten and my 5th year at Clark Elementary School.  Of all the grades I have taught, kindergarten is by far my favorite.

In addition to being a teacher, I am a mom of two girls Natalie (14) and Whitney (11).  When I am not at one of their many activities you will probably find me at our lake cabin with my nose in a book, shopping, or watching my beloved Green Bay Packers!  I am also the Junior High Basketball Cheer Coach.
