This activity was extra tricky because we had to use our fine motor skills to rip SO MUCH paper. We were tired at the end, but we did not give up!
Hopefully as things calm down a bit, I will be able to snap some more fun pictures to share.

Please bring your child's school supplies with you to meet the teacher night. This will make the first day much easier!
I have snacks to get us through our first couple of days of school, but if you can grab a snack for the class and bring it to Meet the Teacher Night or on the first day I would really appreciate it!
If you have any questions or concerns before then, please feel free to reach out via email (alaue@sb320.org) and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
This year is going to be a "llama' fun!
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! The kiddos were super bummed it was raining and we wouldn't be able to do bubble day today. When I saw the weather forecast for today, I came up with a plan and made it work the best I could. We had indoor bubble day with the help of my 13 year old daughter Natalie. We did bubble art by blowing colored bubbles onto paper! We also played under the bubbles of the bubble machine in our classroom for a little bit as well! It is hard to believe we only have one day left together!
We had a BLAST at Floor is Lava Day today! This morning they came into DANGER!!!! Students had to come into the classroom very carefully because lava had taken over! Once they were in, we split into groups. Students had to work together to build a volcano taller than them with solo cups. They also had a teamwork activity where they had to build animals using pattern blocks....the only problem, was that the pattern blocks were on the other side of the room and they were only allowed to get one block at a time! They also learned how to draw lavas and they got to play in our amazing dinosaur sensory bin!
Tomorrow the weather does not look promising for bubble day. If the rain comes like the weather man is saying, we will have some fun with balloons inside our classroom instead.
We have graduation practice tomorrow morning. Please make sure your child gets to school on time so they can attend the practice. Graduation is tomorrow night at the high school. The ceremony starts at 6 pm. Please have your child to the band room no later than 5:45 as we need to fit their hat to their head once they arrive.
